Hy :)
First of all, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all that is celebrating.
I don't know where to start..
I've made a decision to blog every month where I'll blog about the things I like or the things I've been busy with. I'll name it Let's Talk and I'll do it monthly or maybe every two weeks. Let's hope it lasts. *fingers crossed*
Let's start with... what happened in the past few weeks. Well, I haven't painted my nails ever since my last post. I haven't studied for the past one and a half months. My mom and my sister opened a learning centre. The fasting month is over.
The main reason why I haven't been painting my nails is because my nail is short and I've been biting my nails. Old (bad) habits die hard :( I stopped biting my nails for years but in the past few months I've been biting it again. So it's always out of shape, or the length is not uniform, or it rips a little and a few more minor accidents. My nails ripped twice this week (different fingers). It didn't bleed but there's a dried blood underneath my nails. Very small, but painful.
Oh, a little info about nail care. I have this hand and nail lotion my sister bought in Singapore. It's Vaseline. I wear it every time I sit down and have nothing to do. And another hand cream is Neutrogena Hand Cream from Germany. My uncle bought for me and my sis. I also used Vaseline Petroleum Jelly. It sort of strengthens your nails (that's what I read on the Internet).

And I buffed my nails to make it shiny. If you never try them, then you should really give it a try. You are going to fall in love with it! Trust me.
This is how mine looks like.
So you start buffing your nail from the white one, then to the pink one, flip it and buff with the other side. The white one sands(?) the rough surface of your nail. Then the pink one smoothens it. The grey one makes it shiny. But don't do too much, you'll end up having no nail.

Okay, enough with the nails.
I love the fasting month. The people in Batam will open small counters and sell snacks, foods, drinks, tit bits, the "kampung kueh" and so on. I didn't buy any though cause there's a report saying that the seller put formalin in the food for it to last longer. I bought coconut water instead. I bought it daily, the seller knows me well now hahahaha. I asked for less ice, less sugar, more coconut meat. Jjang!
I have a little experience I want to share. So it was around 3 years ago and it was on a Saturday, I guess. It was during the fasting month. I was in the mall with my friend and we both bought ice cream from McDonald's. When we were on the escalator, the escalator going up and going down was side by side, a stranger hit the escalator handrails real hard and said "KEEP ON EATING" (-_-). Why should you do that? We weren't wrong for eating ice cream in the mall. If you can't stand eating temptation then STAY AT YOU HOUSE! Come to think about it, that guy who scold me and my friend for eating ice cream looks like my old tutor (-_-). And that accident made me really cautious about eating and drinking in public during fasting month. Every time I want to drink (during the fasting period) I'll make sure no one is looking at me drinking, then I'll drink (-_-) aih. And if you say I was the one wrong back then, screw you. It's clearly not my fault. Forget it.
So my family has been busy with this learning centre. We haven't officially opened yet but we have students signing up already. My sister and my mom is in charge of teaching and I will be on front desk duty, while studying. The decision to open was quite sudden. From the day my mom found the house (we rent the house, and yes, it's a house) till the day of soft opening was only a short 2 weeks. During that 2 weeks we were busy as hell. Everyday going out shopping, decorating the learning centre, cleaning it. Thankfully we got help from the bible college. They were in charge of cleaning. Phew. And there was a little accident. Not really accident. There was this Buddhist thing they used to worship their god left by the previous tenant. We had to remove it. And on the day we wanted to remove that thing, both of the gate locks wont open. But the thing was my mom has been going in and out of the house for the previous 5 days and the lock was perfectly fine. On that day, it won't open. We felt someone (or should I say something) was playing with us. But we managed to open the gate and took it off, thankfully. After that the house felt much better. I'm not superstitious or what, but before removing that thing, I can feel like something is watching. *shrugs* *shrugs*

And this is the front part of the house after we decorated with some stickers:
I'm going to post a few pictures! Hehe
Recently I made a ring and earrings box. I used the Ferrero Rocher Chocolate box, sponge, and flannel sheet. I used super glue (you can use hot glue gun too) for sticking stuff together.

And this thing right here is a phone charm I made myself. I bought the bottle in Kinokuniya. Pour baby oil up to half of the bottle. Or you can use Elmer's clear glue and put food coloring in it. Take different colors (or one uniform color) of polymer clay or modelling clay, any will do. Roll into little tiny balls. Try different colors as it will look cute. Try to match with the color of liquid your using. Put in as much as you want, but not too crowded. Then add some more oil or glue and fill it almost to the top leaving a little space behind. Then glue the cork with super glue. Glue it tightly. Then put an eyepin in. Take small chain, as showed in picture, and join the bottle with the dust plug. I'm using dust plug cause iPhone doesn't have hole for you to tie the charm. I made the dust plug myself to!
Roll a small ball of polymer clay, stick the eye pin in and bake it. After it's cold, glue the dust plug and take rhinestone of 2 sizes and glue it. Make sure it covers the polymer clay well. Then with the chain, join the bottle and the dust plug, and you're done!

Add extra charms if you want.
I named it Unicorn Poop. Someone else suggests Bubble Gum. Bubble Gum sounds better :p
I guess that's all from me. I'll talk to you next time :)
