Hey guys
How is it going?

So last 2 weeks we all had the Ramadhan holidays and, well, my aunt's family came and we went to an island. Batam Island is connected to a total of 6 islands. So on 16th of August we went to the sixth island called Galang Baru. There are two Galangs. The first one was the refugee camp during the Vietnam War around 1950s to 1970s. The remainigs are still there. Back to the topic, we went to Galang Baru. It takes about 1 hours and 20 minutes car ride to get there. In Galang Baru there is a seafood restaurant where my big family visits like a zillion times. We almost always go there everytime our big family member is complete and the view there is really great. The surrounding is very nice. With the waves hitting the rocks, the wind softly blowing your hair, the fishing boats swaying left and right floating on the water, the water washing the sands and little crabs walking along the shore. No, I lied about the last one. And from the restaurant, there is like a "path" (I'm not sure if I can call it a path, cause it isn't) which connects the restaurant to a small place around 100 meters away from the beach. It's really plain, only covered with woods, and you can reach it by 5 minutes walking, 2 minutes running. If you want to go fishing, that's the right place. Here's a picture.

This picture was taken from the restaurant and you can see the "path" I mentioned. It's more like a board walk. Here, a clearer picture of the board walk.

(That's my uncle, btw. I took the picture from his Facebook. Thanks before, tio)

There, as you can see the boardwalk is quite narrow. But it's safe.

And now, here is what happened. I went to the end of the board walk, the fishing place, with my cousin. Just both of us. And the view was really, really pretty. From the fishing place, across you can see an island. There are a few houses there. The sand looks white and pretty. With all the palm trees and the blue clouds and the water, it looks perfect. Here, a picture.

If you can see, the one with red arrow is the board walk. The pointing blue arrow is the fishing place where my cousin and I sat. The green circle was the island I tried to take a picture of.

We were sitting there. Our feet was swaying about the water level, the winds was blowing quite hard and gave me the chills. The tide was rising, so there was small waves. My cousin said it would be nice if we can swim to the other island, but we didn't bring any extra tees and pants. I was reluctant about what she said. The water was not calm at all and I do not want to swim in that situation. But whatever, nature won.

So we were at the big brown box, the fishing place and sitting at the end of it. I tried to take a picture of the place with my phone, but I can't. All I took was this,

Seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Cant take a picture of the island. So I keep on taking a step backwards, one at a time. One step. Still can't get the picture. Two steps, still can't, Three steps, still didn't get it. I keep on moving backwards. Moving, and moving, and moving till I ran out of a place to step and fell into the sea. Gosh. I was so shocked and what's worse is that I WAS STILL HOLDING MY PHONE. It broke later on, like literally. I mean, of course, it' is salt water duh.

The little waves felt way bigger. I keep on choking on salt water and I can't swim to the beach. The waves keep on pulling me back and I actually had to hang on to the wood poles that served as the foundation of the board walk. I suffered the next 100 meters. I had to swim and hug a pole. Swim again, hug the next pole. Again and again till I got 11 scratches all over my body. Don't think that just because you can swim, staying afloat is easy. On such condition, no. It is not.

No deep cuts but the one on the sole of my foot cutted quite dip into my skin. It really hurts when I walk. I didn't know what scratched it. None of the scratches bleed or what so ever. It all healed in the next two to three days. The cut on my sole is still healing, after more than 2 weeks. But I can walk normally now.

What hurts me most was my phone broke. And mom was threatening me. She said she won't buy me a new one. I know she will. Silly me cried because of that. I find it stupid now, hahahaha. And that one accident brought laugh to the big family. This is the one memory my big family won't forget.

So the plan was the repair my phone, sell it, and buy a new one. We're on step number 1 still.

That's that
 I'll have to sleep soon
 Tomorrow's Monday
 Have a great week ahead

Ending it with a picture of me.. swimming

(I was wearing long jeans and it was heavy as hell. Halfway to the beach I was given a lifebuoy so I didn't have to struggle to stay afloat)

 Kthxbye!
